Gaviota Cabecigris, Larus cirrocephalus, Grey-headed Gull

El domingo 23 de Marzo Juan M.Ruiz descubrió esta preciosa gaviota en el vertedero de Pinto, hoy pude hacerle estas fotos y un video.

Hay dos poblaciones de esta gaviota, la nominal, se distribuye desde Brasil hasta Argentina y la subespecie L. c. poiocephalus que se distribuye por gran parte de Africa. Este individuo muy probablemente proceda de las poblaciones africanas. Se trata de la cuarta cita para España, una en canarias y 3 en la Península.

On Sunday March 23 Juan M.Ruiz discovered this beautiful gull in the landfill Pinto, today I took these pictures of this very rare visitor. There are two populations of this gull, nominal, distributed from Brazil to Argentina and the subspecies L. c. poiocephalus that bread in Africa. This individual most provably comes from the African population. This is the 4th record for Spain and 3rd for the mainland
