Zorzales invernantes en Madrid.Wintering thrushes in Madrid

Esta entrada esta dedicada a la invernada de zorzales en los parques urbanos de Madrid.
Este es un excelente año para ver en los parques periurbanos de Madrid algunos de los zorzales más escasos como son el Zorzal Real y el Zorzal Alirrojo.
Posiblemente por escasez de alimentos en Europa, este año se están desplazando más al sur y en parques donde haya abundancia de frutos de Majuelo o también llamado espino albar tendremos la oportunidad de ver algunos de estos zorzales, junto a los más comunes Zorzal Común y Charlo.

This post is dedicated to the wintering of thrushes in the urban parks of Madrid.

This is an excellent year to see in some urban parks of Madrid some of the scarce thrushes, such as the Fieldfare and the Redwing. One explanation to this influx could be the food shortages in Europe, for this reason this year they are moving further south and is easy to observer in parks where there is abundance of Common Hawthorn.

Primavera en A Veiguiña de Conso, Ourense, España

Esta semana santa pase unos días en mi aldea materna situada en un precioso valle perteneciente al ayuntamiento de Vilariño de Conso en la provincia de Ourense, España. Siempre aprovecho para hacer fotos a las aves que crían en la zona y que en esta época llenan el campo con sus cantos. Ya llegaron los Colirrojos Reales y este año me llamo la atención el gran número de parejas de Chochines. Os dejo algunas fotos.

This Easter I spend a few days in my native village located in a beautiful valley in the municipality of Vilariño de Conso in Ourense province, Spain. Usually I like to take pictures of the birds that breed in the area, at this time birds fill the field with their songs. The  Common Redstart already arrive from his winter quarters and this year is interesting to see the large number of pairs of Wrens. Here some pictures.
